These two classic wooden chairs came in showing their age — worn finishes, surface scratches, and a split seat on the Windsor chair that needed careful repair before refinishing. The Windsor side chair, with its elegant hoop back, turned spindles, and shaped saddle seat, had a clean seam repair done to rejoin the split seat before being cleaned up and restored. The companion piece, a traditional spindle-back rocking chair with wide flat slats, sculpted armrests, and beautifully turned legs, received similar attention to bring it back to life.
